BBR Optometry to take on the Paint Runner in aid of St Michael’s Hospice

2019 is a special year, as BBR Optometry mark 50 years of delivering award-winning eye care to patients. To mark this special occasion, BBR will be taking part in various fundraising events throughout the year. Next up is the Paint Runner and Foam Zone, where 10 employees will run 3 miles, all with the intention of getting coloured silly, in aid of St. Michael’s Hospice.

On 15th June 2019, BBR and 1,500 others will gather at King George V Playing Fields in Hereford for the event, which is set to be Hereford's highlight of the summer. BBR are also sponsoring one of the 7 paint stations, which means this year’s event will be the most vibrant to date. The celebration aims to promote health, happiness and creativity and is a day all about having fun with friends, family and like-minded people of all ages.

When asked what their motivation is, the team said:

"We love getting together socially, so why not have some fun, whilst raising money for an amazing cause?

“The Herefordshire community is filled with amazing people and St. Michael’s Hospice is an incredible charity. As a local independent business ourselves, it’s important to us that we always show our support to others. We can’t wait for the Paint Runner, so many of us are getting involved; it’s set to be a fantastic day!”

BBR are hoping to raise £1,000 with the help of patients and friends. If you’d like to donate, pop into the practice or visit their JustGiving page.
