Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

After the announcement from the government on Saturday night, we know that many of you will be wondering whether you will be able to come in to see us for eye examinations or any other service that you may require. We can reassure you that optometry practices are counted as essential, and that we will be open to assist you in any way that we can in these difficult times. We would ask that anyone that has a need to come to the practice makes an appointment for track and trace purposes, as well as to ensure that we limit the number of people in the building to safe levels.

We can also reassure you that we have taken every step possible to ensure your safety in the present situation. We check everybody’s temperature as they arrive, wear appropriate PPE and have screens and cleaning protocols in place throughout the practice. These measures, along with longer working days to spread clinics out to ensure that we can provide safe distancing according to guidelines, mean that we are confident that visiting us is as safe as it can possibly be.

If there are any changes to our practices enforced by new advice, we will update you on our website and on social media (we encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram), and if you have any queries or concerns about your vision or the measures that we have put in place, do please contact us.
