Wear customised contact lenses while you sleep. Enjoy perfect, natural vision all day, without the need for prescription spectacles, contact lenses or laser eye surgery.
Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) is a vision correction treatment using specially designed contact lenses worn overnight. While you sleep, the lenses gently reshape the front surface of your eye, altering how light focuses on the retina. This means you can enjoy clear vision during the day without glasses or contact lenses.
Research shows that Ortho-K can also slow the progression of myopia, making it an excellent option for children who are short-sighted or whose prescriptions are increasing. See our Myopia Control page for more information.
No. The Ortho-K reshaping effect lasts for around 24–48 hours, so the lenses must be worn every night to maintain clear vision. If you stop wearing them, your eyes will gradually return to their original shape and prescription.
If you are interested in Ortho-K, you will need to book an initial consultation which assesses your suitability for the treatment. This is then followed by a fitting appointment and a short sequence of aftercare appointments
